FAQ Q360: How to change the tax rate of an existing product?

When you go to edit an existing additional product, you may notice that the fields 'product recurrence' and 'tax rate' may not be editable. This happens when given product has already been reserved in the past. In such case it's no longer possible to edit the tax rate. What you can do is make this product unavailable for your customers (unpublish it in the product listing or unselect all resources in the section Resources this product can be reserved for). Then create a new identical product with the new tax rate.

With the above configuration, the existing reservations will use the old product version while all new reservations will use the new product version with the updated tax rate.
